TAF Comes Home
The new Trade A Favor web application will be hosted here at TradeAFavor.com. Thanks to an embrace of open API protocols since we built the prototype, we are now able to bring the convenience of your social connections to an environment dedicated to smarter barter.
Defined Trading Circles
Create your own Trade A Favor trade circles. For example, create a trade circle for people who are fans of a particular Facebook page (or follow a particular Twitter feed) and live within a certain radius of you. Or create a trade circle based on your LinkedIn connections, or your Facebook friend lists. Add and subtract members of any circle on the fly.
More Network Integrations
Three years ago Facebook was the only social network suitable for our prototype. Our next generation application will add Twitter and LinkedIn integrations, with others to follow. Always tell at a glance how a potential trader is connected to you across all these networks.
Location-Based Trading
Discover the key to unlocking many favors with location-based barter. Search for favors or offer favors within a certain radius of a specific location. Or turn off your social network filters and just browse all favors available in your immediate surroundings.
Mobile Trading
Trading on the go! Trade A Favor is coming to Android devices and the iPhone so you have instant access to a world of favors no matter where you are.
Better Favor Matching
New features help you find the perfect favor match quickly and simply. Give us more details about the types of favors you want to receive and we will find the best traders offering them. Or search for people who want your offered favors and see what you can get in return.
Favor Notifications
Receive updates with the latest favors matching your search criteria, favors offered by your trade circles, and traders interested in receiving the favors you are offering.
Better Negotiations
The new Trade A Favor will feature more intuitive negotiation tools to help broker fair deals between traders, including integrated chat for instant negotiations.
